Upon arrival in Vilnius, check in to our hotel in the Heart of Old Town. Gather this evening with fellow travelers for a wecome reception and dinner.

Begin today with a walking tour through this medieval district’s cobblestone alleys and lively Cathedral Square. See the Gothic St. Anne’s Church and Bernardine Monastery complex, and Vilnius University, which was founded in the 16th century and serves as one of the oldest universities in Central and Eastern Europe. Enjoy a funicular ride to the top of Castle Hill, offering sweeping views of Vilnius, and visit the history museum in Gediminas Castle Tower. After lunch, enjoy free time for independent exploration.

Spend the day exploring the beautiful Trakai Historical National Park. Upon arrival, tour the Karaite Ethnographic Museum, situated on a street dotted with picturesque wooden cottages. After lunch, tour the Trakai Island Castle, a 14th-century fortress set on scenic Lake Galvė. Enjoy a private cruise on the lake before returning to Vilnius for dinner.

Visit the Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights, housed in the former KGB headquarters. Then drive to Kaunas, the historical capital of Lithuania. Explore important historic sites such as a 19th-century fort that served as a prison and place of execution after WWII and during Soviet occupation. Return to Vilnius for an evening at leisure to enjoy Midsummers celebrations taking place across the city.

Depart this morning for Riga, stopping along the way for a private tour and lunch at Rundāle Palace, one of the most outstanding monuments of Baroque and Rococo architecture in Latvia.

Head out on a walking tour of Old Town Riga, or Vecrīga, with its historic wooden buildings and cobblestoned streets. We are treated to a special folkloric performance by a children’s dance troupe. Later this afternoon, take a tour of the Žanis Lipke Museum, a stunning modern memorial erected above a bunker that sheltered Jews during World War II. The evening is at leisure to further explore the city and perhaps try a traditional Latvian restaurant for dinner.

This morning, take a guided tour of the Art Nouveau Museum. For lunch, we embark on tasting of regional specialty items in one of Europe's largest central markets, which also includes locally made crafts and gifts. Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure, then rejoin as a group for dinner and to listen to a guest speaker.

Depart this morning for Estonia’s capital, Tallinn. Stop in the seaside town of Pärnu for lunch at a unique Art Nouveau villa. Arrive this afternoon at our luxurious hotel, located in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town.

Head out on a tour this morning of Old Town, including Town Hall Square, Toompea Castle, the Dominican Monastery, and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Take in art and architecture spanning hundreds of years before heading to lunch in a beautiful historic hall where we enjoy a private medieval concert. Afterward, tour the Niguliste Museum to learn about Estonian ecclesiastical art.

Begin today at the spectacular Kumu Museum taking in its award-winning architecture and collection of Estonian art from the 18th century to the present. Later, those interested can join a guided walk through Telliskivi Creative City, a cultural center comprised of old factory buildings that have been reimagined to hold galleries, studios, and cafés. Take in the colorful murals and street art before heading to the Balti Jaama Market, home to nearly 300 stalls showcasing Estonian design, crafts, and culinary specialties. Gather this evening to toast our journey at a farewell reception and dinner. 

Transfer to the airport for return flights home.
