Email Signatures

Email signatures function as your digital business card across campus and beyond. A consistent treatment on all staff emails help create a positive brand impression.

How to Use Email Signatures

When approved by your department lead, a programmatic message or URL may be placed below the final line of your email signature. Please avoid using other additional copy or images in your email signature. Note: The block "S" logo should be the final element in your signature.

  1. Open your email client's preferences (Webmail, Outlook, Mail)

  2. Create a new rich text/HTML signature

  3. Copy one of the two options shown below and paste it into your signature

  4. Confirm the font of the pasted text to be Helvetica. Change it to Helvetica (if necessary) by using the styling menu

  5. Modify the placeholder text to include your details

  6. Highlight the Stanford Logo and select "Link". Insert our homepage: https://alumni.stanford.edu/

  7. Save
