Larger than life. Visit Giant's Causeway with its 40,000 black basalt columns that, legend says, were laid by the Irish giant, Fionn mac Cumhaill (aka Finn MacCool), when fighting a giant from Scotland. Solitary sanctuaries. Iona. Fair Isle. St. Kilda. Visit these remote wisps of islands where ancient pilgrims landed, seeking security, serenity and the sacred.
