Galapagos Expedition

July 10 to 19, 2019
Marvel at the unique biodiversity of each Galápagos island and explore one of the world’s only destinations where humans can venture within a few feet of wild animals in their natural habitat. Best photo ops ever! Stanford faculty leader, Professor Lauren O’Connell, will share her knowledge of Galápagos from her years living and conducting research there.

French Polynesia

November 10 to 24, 2019
Our cruise aboard the luxury vessel, the Paul Gauguin, allows us to survey the cultural and natural wonders of French Polynesia’s different island chains. With history professor Norman Naimark, ’66, MA ’68, PhD ’72, stop at Tahiti; visit other Society Islands, with their soaring volcanic peaks and deep valleys; and explore the Tuamotus, the largest chain of atolls in the world.
