Our purpose is to serve as a liaison among nurse alumnae, faculty and the University and to perpetuate Stanford University School of Nursing's traditions of nursing: nursing excellence in clinical care, education, administration and research.

    Stanford School of Nursing: 1895-1974

Our spring luncheon has been rescheduled for October 8, 2021.  Please note this is a Friday instead of the usual Saturday for our in-person luncheon.  We will be honoring the Golden Grads of both 1970 and 1971.  Details and updates will be announced in the September newsletter.

There is a growing number of Stanford students interested in learning more about the nursing profession. The Stanford Nurse Alumnae started as alumnae from Stanford's School of Nursing (1895-1974); however, the group has expanded to include a group of recent graduates from Human Biology and similar majors who pursued nursing post-graduation from Stanford. We are a diverse community of established nurses and also those interested in learning more! The legacy of Stanford nursing continues - please join our facebook group!

Please contact Nancy Clum, Healthcare Careers Educator and President, at with any questions, and join our facebook community!
