Please join close friends and colleagues for an afternoon gathering of voices honoring Charles J. Ogletree, Jr., the living legend, Stanford alumnus, and Stanford trustee emeritus. Charles has spent nearly five decades fighting the good fight for social justice and equity in court rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, and campuses across the United States and Africa. Now, battling the biggest personal challenge of his life against Alzheimer’s disease, we will unite as a community to mark his legacy at Stanford and beyond with an outpouring of love and appreciation for all he has given to the world.

This virtual event will feature the voices of dignitaries, national leaders, and friends, including: Valerie Jarrett, Dr. Mae Jemison, Dr. Woody Myers, Michael Tubbs, and a host of other exciting guests. We will also announce the Charles J. Ogletree, Jr. Undergraduate Scholarship, an endowed fund that provides scholarship support to African American students.
