Join us for a casual conversation and Q&A with Dr. George Rutherford, AB '74, BS '75, AM '75, on the topic of Covid-19. Dr. Rutherford works at the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and is the Salvatore Pablo Lucia Professor of Epidemiology, Preventive Medicine, Pediatrics and History and Chief, Division of Infectious Disease and Global Epidemiology. He is one of the country's foremost experts on Covid-19 and has been a leading voice in helping the public understand this pandemic.

It's an honor to have him join us to address questions such as: When can I stop wearing my mask? When do we expect children will be able to get vaccinated? Will the vaccine protect us against the new Covid-19 variants? What is a booster shot? As a healthy 30-something who works in technology, when might I get my vaccine?

The event will be moderated by his daughter, Anne Rutherford Zivojnovic, '11. We encourage you to send questions ahead of time to Kate Hayes, '08, at khayes@stanfordalumni.org. Any question is a good question! You may also ask questions during the event.

A Zoom link will be sent out with the reminder email the week of the event. Guests are welcome.

The event is limited to Stanford Alumni/Students.
