Funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), a division of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, Dr. Mather's research focuses on the intersection of emotion, cognition and aging. Dr. Mara Mather received her AB Psychology, Stanford University in 1994, and PhD Cognitive Psychology, Princeton University in 2000, and is a Professor of Gerontology, Psychology, and Biomedical Engineering and Assistant Dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs at USC.
