The New Year is a good time to reflect on how we serve our community through volunteering, philanthropy, and other means. Stanford alums have a long record of local impact on causes that are meaningful to them, so we've invited three local alums (Cam Chesnutt, '17, Victoria Bejarano Muirhead, '13, and Julie Frantz, '71) to talk about their volunteer journeys - the where, why, and how they serve the organizations they are involved in.
We will also hear from Peggy Propp, Senior Program Director at Stanford's Haas Center. The Haas Center for Public Service inspires Stanford University to realize a just and sustainable world through service, scholarship, and community partnerships. It is the hub of Cardinal Service, a university-wide effort to make service an essential feature of a Stanford education. Join us to get inspired to make 2021 your own year of service!
