We will read and discuss recent non-fiction books that give us insights into our world and its future. Examples of books could be “21 Lessons for the 21st Century,” by Yuval Harari, or “Factfulness” by Hans Rosling. Actual selections will be made by club members.

Meetings will be held monthly on Zoom with the goal of in person meetings in the future. Book club members can propose books and will vote to make a selection for the coming month.

Kick - off meeting: Tuesday, Nov. 10

Time: 7:30pm - 9pm

Prior to the first meeting, each participant will ideally propose a book to the organizer although not required. The first meeting will be devoted to introductions and a discussion of the proposed book options. A vote will be held on-line immediately after the meeting.

Space is limited to 20 people but a wait list will be created.

The event is limited to Stanford Alumni/Students.
