New Yorkers have earned a reputation for standing up - not sitting back. How can we actively participate in and shape which policies are made and how they are implemented? Which channels are available to everyday New Yorkers to improve our city?  How can we educate ourselves?

Join the Stanford Women's Network-New York for a discussion that features leaders from the frontlines:

  • Mondaire Jones, ’09, congressional candidate for New York's 17th Congressional District
  • Janine Gilbert, Acting First Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner of Equity, Inclusion, and Risk Management, New York City Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications
  • Robert George, Editorial Board, New York Daily News

This panel and Q&A session will be moderated by Christina Ward, ’07.
