Join us for an evening with Michael Wara, Director of Stanford's Climate and Energy Policy Program, as he discusses what is causing the increased incidence of wildfires in our state, local and state policies that can counteract this trend, the forces that are preventing good policies from getting passed, and how our energy infrastructure might evolve as a result in the years to come.

Mr. Wara is a Senior Research Scholar at the Woods Institute for the Environment and one of five members of Governor Newsom’s Wildfire Commission. He's also a Marin resident and Stanford Law School alumn.

There will be ample time for Q&A, so bring questions!
  • Are forced power shut-offs necessary?
  • Should hardscaping around homes be mandatory?
  • Are municipality takeovers of PG&E likely, and if so a good thing?

Don't miss this fascinating, practical, and timely event. Space is limited so register today!
