Are you a recent grad looking for your first job? Are you in a job transition? Do you find yourself submitting your resume everywhere but not getting a response? Job searches can be difficult, and new strategies are necessary to adopt within this new COVID-19 job hunting environment.

In this next part of our "What Stanford Didn't Teach You" career series, Mauri Schwartz (President/CEO Career Insiders) will discuss ways of developing a job search strategy that will land you the interview.

In this new market, online job hunting and networking skills have become even more important, but they are not without their challenges. By submitting your resume in response to a job posting, you may be trying to enter the same door at the same time as hundreds of others. Even if you are better qualified, how will you even be noticed? This talk teaches you how to grab the attention of the hiring to use LinkedIn and other new networking strategies to grab the attention of the right person.

Come early and be prepared to make connections! We will open the meeting 30 min prior to allow some time for you to network and introduce yourself with your fellow Stanford alumni. After the talk, we will select 2 attendees in a virtual raffle. The winners will each receive a free 30 min consultation session with our speaker. You must be present to win the prizes!
