Join fellow Stanford alumni and guests in a unique opportunity to engage with California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, who holds both undergraduate and law degrees from Stanford, regarding some of the key legal issues facing California. These issues include immigration, environmental policy, consumer protection, health care, and criminal justice reform. A question-and-answer session will follow the Attorney General's remarks.
Mr. Becerra became California's 33rd Attorney General in 2017 and is the first Latino to hold that office. He previously served 12 terms in Congress as a representative from Los Angeles.

The reception and registration will take place from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Attorney General Becerra will begin his remarks and take questions from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages, including wine and beer, are covered in the event price.
