Volunteers are needed to help fill up wheelbarrow with mulch and spreading it under fruit trees that provide healthy food to feed the hunger. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing.

Items to bring that would be helpful, but are not required:

  • work gloves
  • wheelbarrows
  • large recyclable brown cardboard (No glossy/high colored boxes which have a thin plastic coating that aren't biodegradable).

9:45 AM - meet at the garden shelter behind the church

10:00 AM - work starts

1:00 PM - light lunch will be provided

This project welcomes children 5 and up who are able to work at the orchard garden with parental supervision.

Enjoy the beautiful heirloom orchard!
