Brig. Cartier is the Director of Operations, Headquarters, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field Air Force Base, Florida. She is responsible for implementing and directing operational command policy for AFSOC’s worldwide special operations units including 19,000 personnel, 237 aircraft, and $16 billion of assets. Brig. Cartier will discuss her time in the Air Force in special ops, her role as the first female air commando, and provide updates on our Air Force efforts in the Middle East. She has several degrees including a BA in 1988 from University of California and was a National Security Fellow in 2011 at Stanford.  She is one of the most senior women in the Air Force. This event is co-sponsored by Stanford in New York, Stanford Pride and the Stanford Women’s Network.
