In celebration of Black History Month, the Stanford Club of Houston, with support from the Stanford Black Alumni Association - Houston, is honored to host New York Times bestselling author and former Stanford Dean of Freshmen Julie Lythcott-Haims, ’89, for a reading and discussion of her celebrated book Real American: A Memoir.

Real American is a critically-acclaimed and award-winning memoir which examines racism through Lythcott-Haims' experience as a Black and biracial person. Published in over a dozen countries and with one of the top TED talks of 2016 that has over 3.5 million views, Lythcott-Haims' reading and discussion promises to be captivating. 

Join fellow Stanford alumni for an evening of literature and engaging discussion. There will also be a discount on delicious food and drinks for registrants!
