Our 44th Annual Books on Review is coming to you!  With a fresh new year, we cover a lot of ground:  from a young Chinese woman working hard for her own life and for her child; to 1950s sports legends fighting to win and be recognized as equals; to the search for a family literary legacy that has mysteriously disappeared, and finally to a young man struggling to live with his unusual appearance, which complicates his life and eventually changes it forever.  We hope these books will delight, inspire, inform, and change us all as we experience wonder and more.

Linda Lee Peterson, ’71, will emcee.

The writers and their books:

Vanessa Hua, '97, A River of Stars

Gary Pomerantz, Lecturer in Communications, The Last Pass: Cousy, Russell, the Celtics, and What Matters in the End

Catherine Lowell, '11, The Madwoman Upstairs

Robert Dugoni, '84, The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, January 31st!
