Join us at InnerCity Weightlifting (ICW) for a 45-minute workout to boost your energy, followed by a presentation to learn about how you can help reduce street violence in Boston! 

In Boston, less than 1% of young people are responsible for 50% of gun violence. ICW ( reduces youth violence by connecting these proven-risk youths with new networks and opportunities, including meaningful career tracks in and beyond personal fitness. Most of ICW’s students come from Dorchester, Mattapan, and Roxbury. Most have been shot; nearly all have done significant jail time and come from households with an annual income of less than $10K. Using the gym to replace segregation and isolation with economic mobility and social inclusion, ICW disrupts the system that drives disadvantaged youth to street violence.

By working out at ICW, you become a huge part of this solution.

This workout is fun and safe for participants of ALL ages and fitness levels. It combines bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, and other resistance-based exercises into a circuit style workout that addresses the entire body.
