Enjoy afternoon tea and scones as Rachel Patt, '09, an Emory PhD candidate in art history, explores the world of Classical luxury glassware, focusing on a Hellenistic gold-band alabastron in the Carlos Museum’s collection. This vessel, used as a container for precious oil or perfume, is decorated with canes of multicolored glass and gold, and is an example of one of the special techniques that the Greeks and Romans used to make impressive, opulent glass creations both before and after the advent of glassblowing.

AntiquiTEAs are a series of lectures at Emory's Carlos Museum that focus on an item in the museum's collection.  And yes, scones and tea are available.
