The Other Side of Assimilation: How Immigrants Are Changing American Life

The immigration patterns of the last three decades have profoundly changed nearly every aspect of life in the United States. But what do these changes mean for well-established families who have been in the United States for multiple generations? Join Tomás Jiménez as he reveals how established Americans assimilate and alter their identities in response to profound immigration-driven ethnic, racial, political, economic, and cultural shifts. All are welcome.

Light refreshments will be served. Prof. Jiménez' book will be sold following his talk, including an opportunity for book signing.
