  • Of course you’re here to watch Stanford play in the Fiesta Bowl game – but there are a lot of other cool things to do while you’re here in Glendale.

Some of the very best ideas for the family: a trip to Cabela’s, one of the country’s largest sporting goods and outdoor stores complete with a huge display of (stuffed) animals, a walk through aquarium and a fishing pond. It’s just a block north of the stadium, and almost gets as many visitors as the Grand Canyon!

How about a visit to Wildlife World Zoo? You can see animals from around the world in their natural habitats. The zoo is known for having baby white tigers– check out this cutie!

You can get discounted tickets through the Glendale Convention & Visitors bureau. And if you’re feeling brave you can climb to eye level with a giraffe and feed them by hand – not to be missed.

The area around the stadium is known as Glendale’s sports and entertainment district and right across the street from the stadium is arena. That’s where the Coyotes play – check it out for a ‘howling’ good time.

You can find out about all these activities and more at the Glendale Convention & Visitors Bureau.
