Jasper Ridge Preserve Turns 40J asper Ridge may lie out of sight from Stanford's main campus, but the biological preserve on the other side of Interstate 280 is never out of touch with the school's educational and research missions. Since 1973, the preserve has hosted research producing 1,100 scientific reports, 400 peer-reviewed papers and 100 dissertations. This year marks the 40th anniversary of its founding. |

Rodin recently led a performance at Memorial Church that paid close attention to the strictures faced by Renaissance singers. The result was a rendition close to what might have resounded in a French cathedral around 1520. |
