At this event, author and faculty member Alice LaPlante will kick off a book discussion with general remarks, addressing some of the issues brought up in the ongoing online discussion around her novel, Turn of Mind. An engrossing mystery thriller about a retired orthopedic surgeon with dementia, LaPlante brings us into the world of a brilliant woman’s deteriorating mind, also the prime suspect in her best friend's murder.
