Stanford Football Rose Bowl Game Pep Rally
Time: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Location: Santa Monica Place
Free and open to all Stanford alumni and fans

The Official Stanford Pep Rally will be on Wednesday, December 30 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Santa Monica Place in Santa Monica. The event will feature special guests, including team captains and other select Cardinal football players, the LSJUMB and spirit groups. There will be fan giveaways, special deals for fans wearing Stanford gear at various merchants and Stanford gear for sale from the Stanford Bookstore. There is ample parking available at this location as well as nearby.

Stanford at the Rose Bowl Game Official Alumni Tailgate
Registration for the Stanford Tailgate is closed.

Tailgate Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Pregame Time: 1:30 p.m. PST
Location: Brookside Golf Course, just north of the Rose Bowl Stadium
Must have ticket to enter

Your all-inclusive tailgate ticket is your pass to enjoy hearty delicious tailgate fare, specialty food items, cocktails with a Stanford flair, beer, wine and soft drinks. There will be fun, there will be games, there will be face painting, photo opps, games, and surprise spirit giveaways. And of course, there will be an appearance by the LSJUMB! The tailgate will take place rain or shine. In case of rain, additional measures will be taken to provide shelter. However, the majority of the space will be exposed to the elements so please dress accordingly.

Tournament of Roses Events


Decorating Places – Rose Bowl Parade Float Viewing
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Rosemont Pavilion, Brookside Pavilion, Rose Palace
Price: $10-$15 / Kids 5 under free

Experience the magic of the floats before they make their debut in the 2016 Rose Parade. During the final stages of preparation a variety of seeds, bark, fruits and vegetables, grasses and of course, flowers are being applied to the floats by experienced professionals as well as hard working volunteers.



Equestfest 2015
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Equestrian Show 12 p.m. – 2p.m.
Location: LA Equestrian Center
Price: $15-$45

Get up close and personal with the 2016 Rose Parade equestrian units at Equestfest presented by Wells Fargo. Watch beautiful horses and talented riders perform drills and dances and demonstrate trick riding and roping. Attendees can also stroll through the stables, talk to riders and learn about the various tack and the many different breeds while enjoying the vendor court, displays, great music, food and drinks.


Bandfest 2015
Time: All Day
Location: Pasadena City College, Robinson Stadium
Price: $15

Bandfest, presented by REMO, will feature the outstanding bands selected to participate in the 2016 Rose Parade. Over the course of two days, each band, along with its auxiliary performers, will present the field show that has led to its success. Three Bandfest events will take place at Pasadena City College.



Rose Bowl Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Location: Pasadena Convention Center
Price: $60

The Rose Bowl Hall of Fame was established in 1989 to honor members of the Rose Bowl Game family who have contributed to the history and excitement of the Rose Bowl Game and those who embody the best of the passion, strength, tradition and honor associated with The Granddaddy of Them All®. What was once only a dream of 1982 Tournament of Roses President Harold E. Coombes has become an annual tradition with over 100 inductees.


Kickoff Luncheon
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Location: Tent just outside the Rose Bowl Stadium
Price: $90

Kickoff Luncheon is a dynamic mid-day pep rally featuring celebrity sportscasters as they present the university coaches, athletes, marching bands and pep squads of the teams participating in the Rose Bowl Game. Honored guests include the year’s Rose Bowl Hall of Fame inductees and the Rose Queen and Royal Court. The luncheon takes place December 31, 2015 at noon in a tent located just outside the Rose Bowl Stadium.
Tickets are $90 each, and will be available soon from Ticketmaster. Free parking is available in Lot K.



127th Rose Parade
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Location: 5½ mile route down Colorado Blvd.
Prices vary

The 127th Rose Parade presented by Honda begins at 8:00 a.m. and will feature floral floats, spirited marching bands and high-stepping equestrian units along the 5½ mile route down Colorado Boulevard. Experience – in person – the magic of New Year’s Day in an unrivaled celebration, exclusive to the streets of Pasadena!

Public Tailgate
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Lot “H” just south of the stadium
Free and open to the public

Free and open to the public, tailgate activities begin at 8 a.m. on game day. A variety of food and beverages are available for purchase. There are interactive displays and entertainment attractions located on Lot “H” just south of the stadium.
